Anger
From towleroad:
"This is why kids need to be taught tolerance in schools. This is why kids need to be allowed to have children's books that teach them there are gay and lesbian people in the world, and it's okay. This is why numbskulls like Tennessee Rep. Stacey Campfield, who wants to ban anything in schools that teaches kids about homosexuality from kindergarten to eighth grade, endanger the lives of children rather than 'protect' them."
My eyes filled with tears when I read about this story in the LA Times. Its just so tragic. Where were the teachers during the days that lead up to this event? Did they look the other way? Did they think the kid was just an outsider and it was kids just being kids?
I remember being in 8th grade all boys choir class and being teased by all of them. Their ring leader would always ask me, "Billy, are you gay?" in front of the entire class. I would answer "no!" and everyone would laugh. My teacher never once addressed the issue. It was hell and lucky I got into high school and was able to move on. But this? A bully with a gun? How do u handle that?

Happy Birthday Lisa!!!
My little niece turns 27 on Monday. Wow, how time flies. Seems like only yesterday we were we unrolling banana palms in the back yard or remaking the little mermaid video in my parents living room. If I ever find the video I'll post it, [insert evil laugh].
Word has it she's thinking about moving to NYC. I was pretty frank when I said raising a kid in NYC is not the easiest place. But know, that I always have your back whatever u decide. I love you tons. Happy Birthday.

Would you rather have...
A. explosive diarrhea every 20 mins
or
B. stomach cramps that feel like someone is tightly wrapping their fist around your intestines
or
C. Both
If you choose C then you know how I've been feeling the past 2 days
