Ex-Boyfriends

My dinner with my Ex was very cool. Its was so good to see him and chat. He looks happy. I'm so proud of his many accomplishments and I know the future will bring many good things his way. He'll be in German for a gallery show and book signing first week in Aug (I know I have a few readers there -read:one- so email me for details). I also realized, I love him but I am no longer in love with him. He has a passion for what he does and thats where his focus has been for awhile. I'm just glad I got to be apart of the adventure but I'm also glad I got out when I did. It all goes back to us being on different paths. I look forward to seeing him again- you owe me dinner bitch!

And from one Ex to another. My Ex from Texas will be here in 8 days. We have been text flirting for the past month. Last time I saw him, I pushed him away, grabbed my suitcase and slammed his front door. I was a very dramatic 25 yr old. I've had no contact with him since until 2 months ago. He "heard" from a old friend of mine that Lucky and I were no more and wanted to see if I was ok (read: I'm coming to NYC in two months, want to hook up?). We've always had a very tumultuous relationship. I met him in June '01 two weeks before I was to move to NYC for good.
Those were the happiest and insane two weeks of my mid-20s life. The pics posted are from those two weeks- god we look so young! We tried the long distance thing for awhile but it just torn us apart. I had no plans of moving back, having just landed a 6 month musical tour and he was starting radiology school in Austin for the next 3 yrs.

Now I have no ties here. I'm single again and no longer performing. He's done with school and working in a hospital. I have no idea what it's going to happen when I see him. I'm hoping we will be just two friends catching up but our histories dictate otherwise. I'm open to having a weekend bf, I miss having someone to walk in the park with. Its just what happens after the weekend that concerns me.

You're an awesome person Billy, and I'm really happy to see you learning and changing all the time. You and I should go boyhunting sometime.

I love your choice of the pic of the divergent roads. You know, it could be a circle drive (hahaha).

In many ways all roads are. I have yet to find a road that really ended - sure you have to drive in reverse - but even death isn't a road from the past.

Love endures all.
